Radiation−induced degradation of p−Nitroaniline in aqueous solution
The degradation of aqueous ,p,−Nitroaniline by 1.5MeV electron beam is studied in this paper. Influences of absorbed dose, initial ,p,−Nitroaniline concentration, pH and addition of H,2,O,2, on the degradation efficiency are evaluated. Removal of ,p,−Nitroaniline reached 95% and COD−reduction of ,p−,Nitroaniline was 41% at an initial ,p,−Nitroaniline concentration of 100mg/L irradiated to 20kGy. The results show that electron beam irradiation is an effective process for the degradation of ,p,−Nitroaniline.
