A Study of catalytic oxidation on pulp chlorine-bleaching effluent by microwave irradiation
In order to cut down the chemical oxygen demand of Chlorine-Bleaching Effluent the activated carbon was used to treat the west water under microwave radiation. With activated carbon mass fraction 1.0g, microwave radiation time 8min, microwave power 800W, the COD,Cr, decrease from 1176mg/L to 50mg·L,-1, the removal rate of COD,Cr, is above 95%. The results show that the chemical oxygen demand of Chlorine-Bleaching Effluent can be reduced effectively and the related mechanism has been discussed.
