Identification of misstep irradiation and evaluation of effect on absorbed doses in the irradiation process
In order to determine the effect of misstep irradiation on the absorbed doses of irradiated products in the process with moving shuffle-dwell irradiation system the contribution ratio of absorbed doses had been measured at 44 irradiation location with corrugated paper as model of irradiated products. It has been revealed that the contribution of absorbed doses obviously comes from that at some special irradiation location with the irradiated dummy. And misstep irradiation at special irradiation location has large effect on the total absorbed doses. In this paper the reason, identification and protection of misstep irradiation has been discussed. And the predicated formula of effect on absorbed doses has been given.
