Evaluation for current radiation environment situation in a mine
In order to investigated the current radiation environment situation of a mine from 2005 to 2007, various of radiation monitoring instruments have been used to measure the concentration of radon and its daughters, γ radiation level and natural radionuclide content in a mine including industrial site and living area respectively. The obtained data show that radon and its daughters concentration and γ radiation level in most of the monitoring industrial site is lower than the national management limits for the quality evaluation of radiation environment in nuclear industry. And in the living area, individual dose equivalent calculated after deducting the background at all monitoring point is also lower than the national management limits for the quality evaluation of radiation environment.
