Preparation of non-hologen flame retardant POE/EPDM/SR/MH insulation materials
The insulation material of POE/EPDM/SR/MH with different composites were prepared under irradiation by electron accelerator. The effect of formulated components on the mechanical properties, flammability and dielectric properties along with the absorbed doses were investigated. It was found that there was no relation between the tensile strength and the gel content, but there was a better corresponding relationship between the yield strength and the gel content in a certain doses range. The additive with silicon rubber could promote the formation of char and there was flame retardant synergic efficiency between silicon rubber, MH and red phosphorus.
