RADIATION INDUCED HPRT GENE MUTATION OF HAEMOPOIETIC PROGENITOR CELL IN MICE
The HPRT gene mutation of haemopoietic progenitor cells (GM-CFU) in mice suffered from residual injury induced by single dose and fractional dose ,137,Cs γ-ray irradiation were investigated. The results showed that the mutant frequency of GM-CFU related closly to the radiation dose. No significant differences were found between single dose and fractional dose irradiation when total dose were 6.0Gy. The radioprotective agent, WR-2721, expressed a obvious protecitive function to HPRT gene mutation of bone marrow GM-CFU in mice.
