By using MTT assay, it was showed that the survival of mature granulocytes in peripheral blood can be enhanced by addition of Hu-CSF and closely correlated with its concentration. By ,3,H-TdR incorporation measurement, Hu-CSF enhanced the phagocytosis of peripheral blood of irradiated mice with total dosage 6 Gy once or 3 Gy 3 times separately.
