RADIATION SYNTHESIS OF POLYPROPYLENE AMIDOXIME CHELATE FIBER AND ITS ADSORPTION PROPERTIES FOR METAL IONS
Polypropylene amidoxime chelate fiber was synthesized by preirradiation graft copolymerization and amidoximation. The influence factors of grafting rate,content of amidoxime group and adsorption capacity have been studied. The results of experiment showed that grafting rate increased with the increase of preirradiation dose,grafting reaction time,monomer concentration and grafting reaction temperature. The highest content of amidoxime group is obtained at pH=7 of hydroxylamine solution. The adsorption capacity for gold is 0.51 mmol/g dry fiber.
