In the present paper, the effect of low dose X-rays on the induction of apoptosis and cell cycle against challenge dose was studied in EL-4 cell line with FCM It was demonstrated that 0.075 Gy (with the dose rate of 0.0125 Gy/min) preirradiation with X-rays 6 h before 2 Gy exposure could reduce the percentage of apoptosis and G,1, block induced by 2Gy (with the dose rate of 0.287 Gy). The results suggest that an adaptation of apoptosis and G,1, block could be induced by low dose X-rays in EL-4 lymphoma cells.
