Selective adsorption of Co2+ and Mn2+ by cobalt/manganese imprinted thiourea-chitosan
“According to the latest research report, the researchers prepared cobalt/manganese imprinted crosslinked chitosan resin by the combination of sol gel method and inverse suspension method, and synthesized cobalt/manganese imprinted thiourea chitosan resin by thiourea modification. Experiments have shown that the resin has rapid and highly selective adsorption capabilities for Co2+and Mn2+, providing a new approach for the separation of heavy metal ions.”
