      摘要:Polyblends of PLA/POE-g-MAH/TAIC were prepared by melt blending and gamma-rays irradiation. Mechanical characterization, gel extraction and scan electron microscope (SEM) were employed to research the irradiation effect of the blends. The results indicated that PLA/POE-g-MAH/TAIC blends could be in situ compatibilized by irradiation and the mechanical properties were enhanced. When irradiated at a absorbed dose of 30 kGy, the notched impact strength of the blend with the weight ratio of 50/50/3 was obviously improved to 20.8 kJ/m2, which was about 2.5 times of the value without irradiation. The conclusions of scan electron microscope (SEM) and gel extraction were agreed with changes of mechanical properties. Since a new copolymer comprising both chain segments of PLA and POE was formed at the interphase area at certain absorbed dose, the compatibility of the blend was improved, and obvious features of ductile fracture was confirmed by lots of yield deformation when the samples were impacted.

      摘要:Simultaneous radiation grafting method (60Co γ-rays as the radiation source) was used to prepare xanthan gum-graft-N-vinypyrrolidone (XG-g-NVP), and the influence factors of the grafting degree was preliminarily studied. The structure of the grafted copolymer was characterized by the Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and thermo gravimetric analysis (TGA), and the solution viscosity properties of the grafted copolymer in low grafting rate were studied by rheometer. The results show that the grafting rate increases with absorbed dose and gradually achieve to the balance. The grafting rate reaches maximum when the xanthan gum concentration is 10 g/L or the mass ratio is 10:1 meanwhile the other two factors are in a certain experimental value range. FT-IR figure shows that the grafting reaction occurs in NVP vinyl part and lactam structure is retained. Thermo-gravimetric analysis shows that XG-g-NVP enhanced thermal stability of xanthan gum. The properties of XG-g-NVP solution show that grafting helps to enhance the performance of resisting high temperature and shear strength.

      摘要:MWNTs/HDPE composites and MWNTs/UHMWPE composites were prepared by solution blending and ultrasonic dispersion. The composites were irradiated by 60Co γ-rays with absorbed dose of 50, 150 or 300 kGy respectively and the effects of radiation cross linking on electrical properties of composites were investigated. The result showed that radiation could increase the volume resistivity of composites at room temperature and both of the positive temperature coefficient (PTC) intensity and the negative temperature coefficient (NTC) effect of MWNTs/HDPE composite could be eliminated when the absorbed dose was 300 kGy. The optimum absorbed dose for 9% S.MWNTs-60100/UHMWPE composite was 150 kGy.

      摘要:To investigate the effects of pprI gene from Deinococcus radiodurans transferred by in vivo electroporation on γ-ray injury of mice, the morphological changes of testis in the mice were observed. The pCMV-HA-pprI plasmid containing pprI gene was injected into the muscle of mice. The pprI gene was transfected into the cells by in vivo gene electroporation technology. Then the control group and the transferred pCMV-HA- pprI group were exposed to γ-ray radiation of 6 Gy. The muscle tissue at the site of the injection and the testis tissue were taken on days 1, 7, 14, 28 and 35 after radiation. Then total protein was extracted and used to test the expression of PprI with western blotting technology. The testis specimen prepared by haematoxylin-eosin staining was then examined by light microscopy. The expression of PprI is remarkable on the 1st day after irradiation to prove that the pprI gene was successfully transfected into the mice. On the 1st day after irradiation there was no obvious pathological change of the testis tissue of the control group. On the 7th day there was degeneration and necrosis of some spermatogonia and spermatocytes in sections of tubules. On the 14th day, the reduction of spermatogonia was generally marked, and there was considerable reduction in the number of primary spermatocytes associated with atrophy of the seminiferous tubules. On the 28th day there was complete depletion of spermatogenic epithelium when spermatocytes and spermatids had largely disappeared, with no regeneration of spermatogonia and only sertoli cells nuclei remaining along the basement membrane. On the 35th day, spermatogonia were actively regenerating in some of the tubules. Compared with the control group, there was also no significant difference on the 1st after irradiation in the transgenic animal. On the 7th day the degeneration and necrosis of some spermatogonia and spermatocytes in sections of tubules was less than that of the control group. On the 14th day the reduction of spermatogonia was generally marked, and the number of spermatogenic cells reduced. By the 28th day some spermatogonia were actively regenerating in some of the tubules. By the 35th day the regenration of spermatogonia increased and began to stratify. The expression of the pprI gene transfected by in vivo electroporation in mice irradiated by γ-ray shows an significant anti-radiation effect, and can promote the reparative process of testis injury from the mice.

      摘要:In order to explore the expression and significance of transforming growth factor-β (TGF-β) superfamily members TGF-β1, TGF-β3 and TGFβ-R1 in the testis of mice after whole-body exposure to electromagnetic pulse (EMP), twenty adult Balb/c mice were irradiated with EMP of 400 kV/m for 200 times to the whole body and other twenty adult Balb/c mice were sham irradiated in the same condition. Specimens were harvested on 1, 7, 14, 21 and 28 days after irradiation. Changes in cellular localization and expression of TGF-β1, TGF-β3 and TGFβ-R1 were examined by immunohistochemical ABC method. Quantitative analysis of the immunostaining was made by an image analysis system. In the seminiferous tubules, the expression or localization of TGF-β1, TGF-β3 and TGFβ-R1 in the irradiated groups were significantly different from the control groups. These results indicate that TGF-β1, TGF-β3, TGFβ-R1 and the mediated signal pathway may play an important role in the process of impairment and repair of mouse testis irradiated by EMP.

      摘要:The mechanism of radio-sensitizing effect of tamoxifen on the influence of PKCα expression has been explored by tamoxifen combined with 60Co γ-irradiation in human glioma cells. The protein expression of PKCα and CyclinD1 were detected by using Western-Blot. The level of DNA strand breaks was detected by the alkaline single-cell gel electrophoresis assay. The results demonstrated that the combination of tamoxifen and 60Co γ-irradiation could reduce the expression of PKCα and CyclinD1.And it also enhanced the radiation-induced DNA damage and attenuated the repair of damaged DNA. The above results reveal that the combination of tamoxifen and 60Co γ-irradiation can enhance the downregulation of the expression of PKCα and the induction in the low expression of CyclinD1 as well as the delay of DNA repair. All these may be related to the impairment of the radioresistance of SHG-44 cells by tamoxifen.

      摘要:In order to investigate the effect of artesunate combined with irradiaton on DNA damage of HeLa and Siha cells of human cervical cancer, HeLa and Siha cells were cultured in vitro and exposed to different concentration of artesunate for 24 h and MTT assay was used to observe the inhibitory effect of different concentrations of artesunate on the proliferation of HeLa and Siha cells. The cells were divided into 2 groups as the irradiated group and the union treatment group. Here it was set up four absorbed doses of 60Co γ-irradiation in each group with 0, 2, 4, and 6Gy, and the DNA damage were detected by single cell gel electrophoresis assay. MTT analysis showed that the inhibition of artesunate on HeLa and Siha cells of cervical cancer was in concentration-dependent manners. Single cell gel electrophoresis showed that the DNA damage of HeLa cells treated with artesunate was more serious than that treated only with irradiation (P<0.05), but had no such effect on Siha cells. Artesunate can increase the radio-sensitivity of HeLa cells of cervival cancer with p53 mutant, but has no such effect on wide type p53 Siha cells.

      摘要:The purpose of this work is to establish a national criterion for detection of irradiated foodstufs by use of ESR. Four kinds of spices (paprika, mustard powder, curry powder and ginger powder) were used as test materials to study the feature changes of ESR spectrum and the ESR intensity in the range of absorbed doses from 0 to 15 kGy within the storage period of 220 days. The results show that the ESR spectroscopy of four kinds of spices is obviously different before and after irradiation and the intensity of ESR signal increases with the absorbed dose. The ESR intensity of all the four samples decreases during the storage time, but the ESR method can also be used to identify whether the three kinds of samples are irradiated except mustard powder even after 220 days.

      摘要:The sterilization of calcium lactate as food additive was performed by electron beam. The quality, numbers of colony, gather mold and yeasts were determined before and after irradiation, It was found that the mortality of microbes significantly decreased with the increment of absorbed doses and the D10 value of colony number was determined to be 4.38 kGy. And the quality of calcium lactate satisfied the food standard though its mass fraction decreased a little after irradiation with electron beam of 10 kGy.

      摘要:Evaluating biocompatibility of goose head nail steel plat after sterilizing by irradiation was performed to explore and promote radiation sterilization in biomedical material. Initial bacteria contaminated in goose head nail, its recovery rate and corrected factor were determined according to the standard ISO111737 while the absorbed dose setting was completed based on the Method 2 in standard ISO11137. The blood compatibility and heat evaluation test was carried out after eligible radiation sterilization. The results indicate that neither genotoxicity nor heat source to induce the hemolysis was found in goose head nail steel plate after irradiation sterilization. It has been found that artificial joint has good blood compatibility after irradiation sterilization. It suggests that irradiation sterilization could be used as an effective sterilization method.

      摘要:There will be variable noises appear on images in video once the play device irradiated by γ-rays, so as to affect the image clarity. In order to eliminate the image noising, the affection mechanism of γ-irradiation on video-play device was studied in this paper and the methods to improve the image quality with both hardware and software were proposed by use of protection program and de-noising algorithm. The experimental results show that the scheme of video de-noising based on hardware and software can improve effectively the PSNR by 8.5 dB.

      摘要:In order to investigate the stability of fullerenes, the specimens were irradiated with high dose and high dose rate by use of 60Co γ-rays at different atmospheres and HPLC and XRD were used to analyze the influence of γ-irradiation on components and crystal structures of the irradiated specimens. The analyzed results showed that there was no affection on component and crystal structures of all the specimens irradiated at different atmospheres compared with the controlled specimens. In conclusion, the 60Co γ-irradiation stability of fullerenes is very well. The reason of these effects was also discussed theoretically in this paper.

      摘要:Ochratoxin A in aqueous solution was irradiated by 60Co γ-rays to evaluate the irradiation degradation effects. The standard aqueous solution of Ochratoxin A was applied to determine the linear relationship and detection limit of HPLC, which was used to investigate the effects of absorbed doses on the degradation of Ochratoxin A in aqueous solution. The results show that the degradation rate of Ochratoxin A in aqueous solution increases with the absorbed dose in certain range, and reaches the maximum, 90%, at 4 kGy, and then it tends to be stable. What’s more, the degradation rate is higher with lower concentration of Ochratoxin A in aqueous solution. As a result, 60Co γ-rays have good effect on the degradation of Ochratoxin A in aqueous solution with lower absorbed dose.
