      摘要:In this article, we made a comprehensive discussion on the development of worldwide foodborne illnesses and application status of ionizing radiation techniques, reviewed the ability of ionizing radiation to inactivate a wide range of microorganisms, and debated the safety of radiation techniques and absorbed dose level. Future studies will investigate the sensitivity of pathogenic microorganisms to ionizing radiation. They will aim to identify critical factors that determine microbial resistance to ionizing radiation and assess the effects of such factors on the inactivation mechanism and repair pathway efficiency, establishing an integrated standard for food irradiation dose, technological process and operation specification.

      摘要:Recent advances in extraction, purification and detection methods of 2-alkylcyclobutanones (2-ACBs) were reviewed through comparing analysis of the EU standard (EN1785:2003). Using of direct extraction with acetonitrile, purification with commercial solid phase extraction columns and detection with GC-MS for 2-ACBs is probably the potential method which can be alternative of EN1785. The methods of SPME (Solid-phase microextraction), pre-column derivation and indirect ELISA (Indirect enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) have many advantages including saving analyzing time and organic solvent, and lowering detection limit. However, the relevant operating conditions need to be further optimized.

      摘要:The investigation was conducted to evaluate the performance of the first tomotherapy (TOMO) in hunan to provide guarantee for clinical radiotherapy. PTW UNIDOS dosimeter and two ionization chambers (0.6 cm3 and 0.125 cm3) were employed, together with MatrixXX, EBT3 films, and phantom, to test ten of the key indicators of TOMO, in accordance with the standards Specifications for Quality Control Test of Helical Tomotherapy Unit. The results showed that there were some deviations in the indicators:a deviation less than 0.1% for static output dose, a deviation of -1.4% between the rotary output dose and the planned dose; a deviation of 0.3% for ray quality from the nominal value; a discrepancy of 0.7% for the transverse beam profile; a discrepancy of 0.5 mm for the FWHM of the longitudinal beam profiles; a deviation of 0.6 mm for multi-leaf collimator; a deviation less than 1.0 mm for virtual indication of green laser lights on X-axis, Y-axis and Z-axis; a deviation lower than 1.0 mm between red laser light indication and movement of treatment couch; a 0.6 mm of synchronization deviation between couch and gantry rotation. So the 10 key indicators inspected are in line with the limits and indexes specified in Specifications for Quality Control Test of Helical Tomotherapy Unit. However, consistent inspection of the apparatus is needed.

      摘要:According to predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria, the relevant literatures were searched and qualified literatures were determined. Based on total number of electrocardiogram (ECG) examination and number of abnormal ECG in radiation group and control group, the heterogeneity test was employed by using effect size of OR (OR is odd ratio, it represents the ratio of exposure to disease risk and non-exposure to disease risk). Fixed effect model or random effect model was used for meta analysis. A total of 15 literatures met the inclusion criteria. Meta-analyses showed that the difference on ECG abnormality rate between the radiation group and the control group was statistical significant[OR=1.63, 95% CI (1.32, 2.02), p<0.00001]. It suggests that long term exposure to professionally low dose-ionizing radiation has significant influence on ECG abnormality risk in radiation workers.

      摘要:Acrylic acid (AAc) was grafted onto the surface of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) film by low temperature plasma pretreatment. Subsequently, a thin copper layer was coated on the surface of the modified PTFE film (PTFE-g-PAAc) by palladium-free electroless copper deposition. Attenuated total reflectance Fourier transform infrared (ATR-FTIR) spectroscopy showed that acrylic acid was successfully grafted onto the surface of the PTFE film. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and atomic force microscopy (AFM) showed that a thin copper layer was uniformly deposited on the surface of the PTFE film. 3M taping method assessment according to ASTM D3359 indicated that the copper layer was tightly bonded on the film so that 3M tape could not tear down the copper layer from the surface of PTFE film. Electrical performance showed that the surface resistance (Rs) and resistivity of PTFE-g-PAAc-Cu decreased to 1.27×10-2Ω/sq and 50.1 μΩ·cm, respectively. The conductivity was improved from an insulator to a conductor (1~103 μΩ·cm), which could be potentially used as the flexible copper clad.

      摘要:The aim is to study the radiation protection effect of 1,4-dihydropyridine in CHO-K1 cell. There were three groups which were DHP treated group, radiation group and control group, respectively. Diethyl 2,6- dimethyl-1,4-dihydropyridine-3,5-dicarboxylate (DHP) cell viability and cell cytotoxicity were measured by neutral red assay, DCFH-DA was used to test the level of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and comet assay was adopted to measure DNA damages. Radioprotective activity was evaluated by these three indices. The fluorescence intensity of DCF was 1 800, tail DNA and tail moment were 3.5% and 1.7% in radiation group, which significantly increased (p<0.05) compared with control group. The results indicated that radiation could produce more ROS to cause DNA damage. The fluorescence intensity of DCF was 945, tail DNA and tail moment were 0.83% and 0.7% in DHP treated group, which significantly decreased (p<0.05) compared with radiation group. The results indicated that radiation could induce DNA damage and DHP could relief this injury to DNA. It can be concluded that DHP could protect cell against radiation-induced damage in CHO-K1 cell.

      摘要:The safety of electromagnetic radiation caused by prolonged use of far-infrared radiation heating film in heating season was studied from the acute effect and cumulative effect based on experiment. The acute effect was analyzed by calculating instantaneous intensity of electromagnetic radiation field with standard limit; the cumulative effect was analyzed by quantum physics model. The results showed that the maximum electromagnetic radiation was 225.4 nT in the electromagnetic radiation field generated by the electric film. It is only 1/444 of ICNIRP (International commission for non-ionizing radiation protection) prescribed limit and 1/100 of Chinese national standard limit, which would have influence on human neuronal microtubules to some extent, but no cumulative effect.

      摘要:The assembly processes of actin on mica substrate and lipid membrane by real time imaging of atomic force microscope (AFM) and laser scanning confocal microscope were studied. It was found that on the bare mica substrate, the small amount of G-actin nucleating points formed and subsequently self-assembled into long actin filaments with lengths up to tens of micro-meters. While on the positively-charged lipid membrane (DPPC:DPTAP=4:1), large amounts of nucleating points quickly formed, leading to the formation of relatively shorter filaments. The proposed optimum condition for exploring actin assembly process with AFM in vitro is positively-charged substrates should be used while the AFM imaging force should be lower than 50 pN. These results laid foundation for construction of micro- and nano-scale transport systems based on actin.

      摘要:Based on the platform of Web of Science, we made a quantitative and systemic study on the articles, the authors, the journals, the institutes and the key words which were focused on cell irradiated by heavy ion beam. Meanwhile, the methods of bibliometrics and the relative application softwares were employed. The results suggested that the research on cell irradiated by heavy ion beam was gradually active and deep-going after 1900s; the different biological effects between different types of cells induced by heavy ion beam irradiation with different qualities, the bystander effects and its mechanism, the evaluation model of biological effects induced by heavy ion beam irradiation, and the selection and control model of irradiation qualities and the relative computer programs were the important research content of this topic; the high co-citied frequency among the important journals which were confirmed by the particular index, Nature, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America, Cancer Research and so on suggests the more application of breakthroughs of science frontier in the research on cell irradiated by heavy ion beam; the research on cell irradiated by heavy ion beam is dominated by a minority of countries, institutes and authors and the collaboration among them is less.
