A quantitative IR method for determining the composition of PTFE-ST graft copolymer having chromatographic separation function in micro-particle state has been described. The method was quantified by using the graft copolymer film as an external standard. The absorbances of bands at 1493 cm,-1, and 2362 cm,-1, of standard samples were measured and the regression equation of A,1493,/A,2362, vs graft (%) was set up This method has shown its own advantages for accurate and convenient determination of monomer content in the PTFE-ST radiation graft copolymer
