In this paper, the crosslinking PVC of insulation materials, especially the selection of multifunctional monomers and plasticizers has been investigated. The effect of radiation crosslinking PVC mixed with various multifunctional monomers and plassticizers has also been studied, the effect of the amount of various multifunctionl monomers and. plasticizers and of radiation dose, gel fraction, volume resistivity, all were studied, and loss weight after thermal aging and mechanical property of crosslinked PVC was determined as well. The crosslinked PVC insulation materials properties related with various monomers and plasticizers have been measuped. The variety and amount of multifunctional monomers and plasticizers were evaluated and preliminarily the various properties of PVC was discussed summarily.
