Zhi Hua mango (Mangifera indica L.) was treated using calcium infiltration and radiation. Biochemical and physiological aspects during mango storage were researched. The results that the treatment of CaCl,2, with radiation (dose of 0.25 kGy) can retard Malic enzyme activity, and rediation can also cause effects on the transparation of Ca,++, and release of CO,2, and ethylene. The mango treated using above way is the best from view of sense organ. However it does not delay maturity of mango to use Ca,++, treatment alone.
