The radiosensitization activities of nitrotriazole and quinoxalin derivatives, 2100-H, QN-2012 and QN-2013 for hypoxic cells were studied in vitro using HeLa-S 3 cell line. It was determined that the sensitivity enhancement ratio of the nitrotriazole 2100-H and the quinoxalines, QN-2012 and QN-2013, at concentration of 1 mmol/L were 1.4,1.76 and 1.79 respectively. The aerobic cytotoxicities of 2100-H and QN-2013 are much less than that of misonidazole. It seems that these two compounds may be two promising radiosensitizers for hypoxic cells.
