In this paper, the intermolecular electrontransfer (ET) involving N-phosphoryl methione (NDM) and tryptophan (TrpH) initiated by Br,2,·-, and Cl,2,·-, anion radicals in aqueous solutions have been studied using pulse radiolysis and kinetic spectrophotometric monitoring techniques, a series of rate constants of ET have been determined and the influence of N-phosphoryl group on the mechanism of ET has been explained structurally.
