In order to improve the extraction and application of vanillin, molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) was synthesized by irradiating suspension polymerization using vanillin as template molecular, ethylene glycol dimethacrylate (EDMA) as cross-linker and methacrylic acid (MAA) as functional monomer, respectively. The analysis results of scanning electron microscopy, equilibrium binding experiments and selective binding experiments indicate that the imprinted polymer shows more symmetrical particle size, favorable molecular adsorption and considerable binding specificity compared with vanillin. The separation coefficient α of MIP to vanillin and o-vanillin is 2.Cited
