在空气氛围中,对尼龙12(PA12)进行电子束辐照,探讨吸收剂量对其结构和热性能的影响。通过机械性能测试、傅里叶变换红外光谱(FTIR)、差示量热扫描(DSC)和X射线衍射(XRD)等方法对样品的结构和热性能进行表征。结果表明:随着吸收剂量不断增加,PA12的断裂伸长率逐渐降低,在1 600 kGy时接近0%,而断裂强度在1 600 kGy时仍有42 MPa;样品白度随着吸收剂量的增加呈下降趋势;FTIR测试表明,羰基指数和N-H的面外弯曲强度随吸收剂量的增加而增大;DSC测试结果表明,随着吸收剂量的增加,PA12的结晶焓和熔点逐渐下降;XRD测试结果则表明,电子束辐照没有改变PA12的晶型结构。
Nylon 12 (PA12) was irradiated by an electron-beam in air. The structure and thermal properties of the samples with different absorbed doses were studied by mechanical testing, Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), and X-ray diffraction (XRD). The results showed that the elongation at break of PA12 decreased gradually with increasing absorbed doses, approaching 0% at an absorbed dose of 1 600 kGy, at which the tensile strength was 42 MPa. The whiteness of PA12 decreased with increasing absorbed doses. FTIR spectra showed that the carbonyl index and N-H bend strength of PA12 increased with absorbed doses. DSC results showed that the crystallization enthalpy and melting point of PA12 decreased gradually with increasing absorbed doses. XRD results showed that electron-beam irradiation did not change the crystal structure of PA12.
