A wine (42°) was irradiated with 10,5,R of ,60,Co γ-ray. The rats which were fed with the irradiated wine were divided into five groups:,1. Natrual control group——fed with no wine,2. Irradiated wine group:——fed with one dose of irradiated wine, 0.5ml every other day,3. Non-irradiated wine group——fed with one dose of non-irradiated wine, 0.5 ml, every other day,4. Irradiated wine group——fed with one dose of irradiated wine, 2 ml, every other day,5. Non-irradiated wine group——fed with one dose of non-irradiated wine, 2 ml, every other day,Having proceeded series of experiment concerning body weight, peripheral blood picture, hepatic functions, immuna functions, endocrine functions, viscera coefficent, etc. of the above five groups of rats, all the results of the experiment showed that in the group fed with larger dose of irradiated wine, the GPT positive rate was prominently lower than that of the non-irradiated group. This also showed that liver damage caused by the irradiated wine was decreased as compared with that of the non-irradiated wine. other indices of the irradiated and the non-irradiated wine showed no significant difference.,Our experiment showed that the irradiated wine is acceptable and safty.
