Human peripheral blood lymphocytes in vitro were irradiated by ,60,Co-,γ, -rays with 0.0489-0.524 Gy. By using UPG staining technique, the dose response relationships of chromosome aberrations were studied. The analysis of exclusively M,1, cells, revealed surely aberration scored yields as compared with the results of the conventional method. The data of dicentrics plus centric rings of M,1, cells give a good fit to linear or linearquadratic model in this dose range, and the data of acentics give a good fit to linear model. Finally, the results were discussed with regard to the application of dicentrics olus centric rings and acentrics for a cytogenetic dosimetry after exposure to low levels of ionizing radiation.
