Optimal design for the renovation of a medical linear accelerator room into a cyclotron room
“In response to the development needs of nuclear medicine, experts have proposed a plan to transform the linear accelerator room into a cyclotron room. Through theoretical calculations and MCNP simulations, evaluate the shielding effectiveness of the original heavy concrete machine room against gamma rays, and propose an optimization plan for adding boron containing polyethylene to the inner wall for neutron radiation.”
