THE CHEMILUMINESCENCE STUDY OF ONOO- GENERATED FROM SIN-1 AND ITS SCAVENGE BY ANTIOXIDANTS
Using 3-morpholino-sydnonimine (SIN-1) as peroxynitriate anion(ONOO,-,) generator and luminol as enhancer, a chemiluminescent (CL) system for screening ONOO,-, was established. Effects of pH, temperature and SIN-1 concentration on CL intensity were studied and the scavenging effects of trolox, tea polyphenol and quercetin on ONOO,-, were determined. Typical parameters of the CL system for determination ONOO,-, are SIN-1=0.30 mg/mL, luminal=1×10,-4,mol/L, pH7.4, and T=30℃. ONOO,-, scavenging abilities of quercetin, tea polyphenol and trolox were investigated with the CL system, with quercetin being the highest in the ability, whereas trolox being the lowest. The CL technique for determination of the formation and screening of ONOO,-, is quick, convenient, sensitive and steady.
