EFFECTS OF LOW DOSE RADIATION ON MICE BONE MARROW STROMAL PROGENITOR CELLS
Experiments with liquid single layer culture and semisolid culture in vitro were performed to evaluate the effect of low dose radiation (LDR) on bone marrow stromal progenitor cells. It was found that after the treatment of LDR the proliferation function of CFU-F increased, the supporting effect of CFU-F on CFU-GM and the adhesive capacity for bone marrow cells enhenced, especially in the groups treated with 50mGy and 75mGy. The results confirmed the homesis effect of LDR on bone marrow stromal progenitor cells.
