SYNTHESIS OF WATER SOLUBLE PHOTOINITIATORS OF THIOXANTHONE DERIVATIVES
Four photoinitiators of water soluable thioxanthone derivatives were synthesized. 2-hydroxy-3- (1-methyl-9-oxo-9H-thioxanthone-4-yloxy) -N,N,N-rimethyl-l-propanamonium chloride is a new compound which was not reported. These compounds were identified by IR, NMR, MS and Elemental analysis etc. and the UV absorption wavelength and the molar absorption coefficient were determined.
