        摘要：The value of one-electron reduction potential () is one of the important parameters of radiosensitive compounds with high electron affinity. By using anthraquinone-2-sulfate (AQS) as reference, the of novel radiosensitizers, such as AZ, AC, EA, OAZ, OAC, OEA, mNAZ, mNAC, mNEA, pNAZ, pNAC, and, pNEA, were determined by pulse radiolysis. Their one-electron reduction potentials range from - 420 mV to -490mV.

        摘要：One-electron reduction of 1,10-phenanthroline-5, 6-quinone (PQ)in aqueous solutions was studied by 60Co γ-radiolysis using isopropanol free radical as a reductant. The UV/vis absorption spectrum obtained after irradiation at pH9 showed a new broad band centered at 490 nm. Different absorption spectra were obtained at pH≈7 and ≈4. Below pH 7, the increase in the absorption around 490nm was much small and decreased with decreasing pH. These observations agree with that in pulse radiolysis experiments where a residual absorption at about 490nm remained constant for several milliseconds,and this residual absorption increased with increasing pH[1~3]. It is suggested that the absorption in the visible region observed after the γ-irradiation and millisecond after pulse radiolysis is caused by the same species, a final product. MS analysis indicates that a final product with more mass number that PQ was produced after γ-irradiation at pH 3.3. This final product was assumed to be PQH2 produced by the disproportionation of PQ semiquinone neutral radical.

        摘要：Dosifilm PVG was a new radiochromic film dosimeter composed of matrix material polyvinyl butyral (PVB), leuco malachite green (LMG) and additive halogenated organic compounds (RX), etc. The control of the dose range on PVG dosifilm was examined. The addition of halogenated compounds played an important role in the radiation reaction of LMG beyond the concentration of LMG. Bromide was more effective than chloride in this system, the oxidative species were X•and X2-. PVB with N-bromosuccinimide (NBS) induced the oxidation of LMG before irradiation. The reaction mechanism of PVG was discussed. Different linear ranges of radiation response on PVG dosifilm could be controlled by alternating the relative concentrations of halogenated compounds and LMG.

        摘要：The radiosensitization activities of nitrotriazole and quinoxalin derivatives, 2100-H, QN-2012 and QN-2013 for hypoxic cells were studied in vitro using HeLa-S 3 cell line. It was determined that the sensitivity enhancement ratio of the nitrotriazole 2100-H and the quinoxalines, QN-2012 and QN-2013, at concentration of 1 mmol/L were 1.4,1.76 and 1.79 respectively. The aerobic cytotoxicities of 2100-H and QN-2013 are much less than that of misonidazole. It seems that these two compounds may be two promising radiosensitizers for hypoxic cells.

        摘要：In this work, investigation of feasibility on detecting irradiated fresh chicken has been carried out by LHP method. The peroxide content, autoxidation and susceptibility to γ-radiation for fat of various location of chicken have been studied. It has been found that there are the effects of absorbed dose and temperature on irradiation peroxidation. When chicken was irradiated with the dose of 2 kGy, peroxide concentration produced by irradiation in tail fat is 3×10-3mol kg-1 (fat) for the samples with 20℃ and ~2×10-3mol kg-1(fat) for the samples with initial temperature of -18℃, respectively, which are about 7 and 5 times greater than background value (4.3±1.7)×10-4mol kg-1 (fat). Therefore, the LHP method could be used to identify chicken irradiated under the condition of air.

        摘要：An orthogonal test of γ-radiation, storage temperature and time before irradiation, and the sanitation for cutting was carried out on grzzard slices. The test conditions were practicabe for food irradiation processing. To idenitify irradiated gizzard slices, sensory changes, water-soluble nitrogen, amino acids, total volatile basic nitrogen(TVBN),peroxide value (POV), vitamin C consumption and KMnO4 consumption were detected, no significant changes were observed except the color which was light brown on the surface. Both the sanitary quality and the shelf-life of gizzard slices were improved by irradiation.

        摘要：The splenocytes were cultured with ConA for 48 h in vitro 24 h after whole-body irradiation (WBI) with 75mGy X-rays in mice. The extracellular fluid of the splenocytes decreased the thymocyte apoptosis in vitro 24 h after WBI with 2Gy X-rays in mice, especially decreased significantly 72 h after the thymocyte culture (P<0.05). Meantime, the CD 25 (IL-2 recepter) expression of the splenocytes (P<0.01) and its IFN-γ secretion (P<0.05) enhanced significantly. The results suggest that low dose radiation changes the microenvironment of immune organs and the process of their informention transfer to lead to the enhancement of immune functions, the acceleration of the maturation and differentiation of immune cells and reduction of their apoptosis.

        摘要：In this paper, influence of low dose radiation on immunity in C 57 BL/6 mice injected with cancer cells was studied. In mice given 75 mGy WBI 24 h before injection of Lewis lung carcinoma cells or B16 melonoma cells, the percentage of S-phase thymocytes and CD3+ thymocytes, the splenic NK cell activity, IL-2 secretion and γIFN secretion were found to be potentiated 2~8 day after irradiation in comparision with the sham-irradiation mice. The results suggest that low dose radiation might suppress cancer cell dissemination via the enhancement of immune reactivity.

        摘要：Upon the previous studies about the effect of radiation on the DNA polymerase β (pol β) activity and the roles of the enzyme on DNA repair synthesis, we reported the effects of γ-irradiation on gene transcription and its expression of DNA pol β. After 2 or 4 Gy total body irradiation, some biological properties of the enzyme in SMMC-LTNM hepatoma cells borne in nude mice changed. The content of DNA pol β mRNA in hepatoma cells increased significantly, reached the maximum (about 1.76-fold of control) at 36 hours, then decreased closely to control level 3 days later. The gene expression tested by immuno-gold-silver staining assay exhibited some alterations which showed that the enzyme gene expression become more active at 48 hours after irradiation. These results indicated that γ-irradiation would promote DNA pol β transcription and enhanced its DNA repair function.

        摘要：Using cytochalasin cytokinesis B to block was compared the dose effects of x-ray and 60Co γ-ray on frequencies of micronucleus, as well as the dose effect of γ-ray at different dose rates. The results indicated micromucleus frequencies of γ-irradiation were higher than those of X-irradiation with the same doses and the same dose rates. Micronuclei frequencies increased with the increase dose rates. Dose-effect curves not only related to the kinds of irradiation, but also to the dose rates of the same irradiation. So dose effect curves of different dose rates, should be made and it would be useful for the accidents, with difterent dose rates.

        摘要：The interaction of triplet acetone with polyguanylic acid(Poly[G]). polyadenylic-guanylic acid(Poly[A,G])and single-stranded(ssDNA) were investigated in neutral aqueous solution using KrF (248 nm) laser flash photolysis. The characterized absorption spectra of transient species were observed for the first time. On the basis of a comparison of the transient absorption spectra of the dehydrogenated radical of dGMP and those of Poly[G], Poly[A,G] or ssDNA, we suggest that the photosensitized transient species are guanyl radicals. Therefore, site-selective photosensitized damage of DNA at the guanine moiety was characterized.

        摘要：N-isopropylacrylamide (NIPAAm) was grafted onto Polypropyrene ultrathinporous film by preirradiation grafting. A new kind of hydrogel with good mechanical strength and thermo-sensitivity was obtained. The factors which affect the grafting reaction were studied, and the surface micro-structure were observed. The aperture diameter of polypropyrene ultrathinporous could be controlled by temperature, and the grafted polypropyrene was used as penetrating and controlled release of drug deliverly.

        摘要：By using MTT assay, it was showed that the survival of mature granulocytes in peripheral blood can be enhanced by addition of Hu-CSF and closely correlated with its concentration. By 3H-TdR incorporation measurement, Hu-CSF enhanced the phagocytosis of peripheral blood of irradiated mice with total dosage 6 Gy once or 3 Gy 3 times separately.

        摘要：Ten clones were picked from cultured colonies of CaEs-17 cell line and developed to a subcell line. The values of SF2 were measured for each subcell line, Two radioresistant subcell lines, clone 7 and clone 10 were established,According to survival curve assay,for wild type, the value of D0 was 1.57 Gy. DQ was 1.07 Gy, N was 1.96, SF2 was 0.41. For clone 7,the value of D0 was 1.64 Gy, DQ was 1.85 Gy, N was 3.07, SF2 was 0.53. For clone 10, the value of D0 was 1.58 Gy, DQ was 2,04 Gy, N was 3.63, SF2 was 0.61. Clone 7 and clone 10 have much higher values of DQ and N than those of wild type, there was amplification of H-ras gene in clone 10 after 2 Gy irradiation. The amplification of H-ras gene in clone 10 after 2 Gy irradiation might be involved in hetero geneity of CaEs-17 cell line.

        摘要：One-electron reductions of 9,10-phenanthrenequinone （PhQ） in aqueous solution have been studied using pulse radiolysis. In this paper, we present the absorption spectra of PhQ semiquinone anionic and neutral forms, pK4 of the semiquinone neutral form and one-electron reduction potentials of PhQ at neutral pH. We have also studied the formation and kinetics of the semiquinone. The bimolecular rate constants of e4q- and （CH3）2 COH with PhQ and the decay rate constants of PhQ semiquinones are obtained.

        摘要：The study of triplet excited state behavior of DNA and its components is hampered by the very small yields produced by direct photolysis. Utilizing acetone sensitization method, a breakthrough for detection of triplet-triplet absorption spectra and triplet state kinetics of DNA components were performed at our laboratory[1~5]. Very recently similar studies of triplet states of DNA components from acetone sensitization have been reported by Gut et al.[6] However, comparative studies of triplet states of DNA components from acetone sensitization and direct excitation at similar condition have not yet reported. In this communication, the kinetic parameters of the decay of triplet states of thymine（Thy）, thymidine（Thd） and thymidine 5'-monophosphate （TMP） （Sigma Chemical Co.） have been obtained from both acetone sensitization and direct excition using 248 nm, 20ns excimer laser pulse in aqueous solution at room temperature. The self-quenching rate constant （ksq） and the rate constants of the unimolecular decay（k0） are listed in Table 1.
