        摘要：The lung is one of the most sensitive organ to radiotherapy. The thoracic radiation can produce dramatic effects, both early and late. In order to value the effects of radiation on lung, a lot of efforts have been made by researchers. This paper summarized the recent progresses in experimental investigations on pulmonary radiationdamage, including physiological, biological, phathological and cellular changes. In addition, main view on mechanism of pulmonary radiation damage were also involved.

        摘要：Our study showed that there was a selective deposition of β-radiator 147pm and γ-radiator 169Yb in skeleton. Both 147pm and 169Yb with similar metabolic peculiarity deposited mainly on the endosteum, periosteum and bone marrow cells.Now we are trying to compare the chromosome aberration on bone marrow cells induced by 147pm or 169Yb under similar radiation dose and the absorption dose in skeleton betwee them. Animals were killed 72 hrs following the intake of each radionuclide. The femur was excised. Bone marrow cells were cultured in vitro for 24 hrs. Then we observed the chromosome aberration of bone marrow cells. Results indicated that the highest chromosome aberration rates induced by different radiators were on bone marrow cells of Wistar rats treated with 1 mCi/kg of 147pm (22.53±1.98%) or 169Yb (8.07±1.09%) followed by rats treated with 20 µCi/kg of 147pm (10.53± 1.68%) or 169Yb (2.60±0.72%) , There was a positive relationship between the chromosome aberration rates and the intake or 147pm or 169Yb. It is stated that, the mutagenic effect on bone marrow cells induced by β-radiator 147pm was 2-3 times greater than by γ-radiator 169Yb. At the same time the absorption dose in skeletom by 147pm was also 2 times greater than by 169Yb.

        摘要：On the basis of the results of IR analysis, ESR, ESCA and chemical analysis, we suggest the mechanism of radiation crosslinking of fluoropolymer Fs-46. The crosslinking point of Fs-46 is not on the side chain -CF3-group, as Bowers suggest with their theoratical analysis; we find that they may carried out with recombination of two side chain radicals directly, as, , crosslinking with H type, or recombination of side chain radicals and chain end radicals through branching and then crosslinking. It is crosslinking with T type or Y type. The later one is the probable mechanism.

        摘要：In order to probe the effect of low dose γ-rays on the LDH and its isoenzyme from personal serum, the LDH and its isoenzyme of 95 workers exposed to 137Cs during mine prospecting were observed. Results showed that the total activity of the LDH of the exposed group was significantly higher than that of control, there are no differences of the LDH isoenzyme between groups, and no correlation with the worker's length of service of the cumulative dose.

        摘要：This paper reports the radiation crosslinking reaction of three-component ethylene-propylene copolymer (EPDM). The reaction taking place in random at high dose range obeyes Charlesby-Pinner equation and Chen-Liu-Tang equation. At low dose range radiation crosslinking of EPDM is enhanced due to the presence of third monomer (bis-(cyclopentadiene)) which accelerates the reaction with its double bond. The radiation crosslirking reaction is also accelerated by the addition of MI. The radiation crosslinked EPDM containing 50-70% gel was obtained with the addition of 1% MI in 2-4 Mrad dose range.The structures and properties of the radiation crosslinked EPDM were measured. The mechanical property and thermal property had been improved. The tg δ maintains in the order of 10-3.It is expected that the radiation crosslinked EPDM may be a promising material for making insulated wire, cable and heat shrinkable tubing.

        摘要：In a capacitively coupled discharge with external electrodes, hexamethyldisilazane and octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane were polymerized, and the effects of system pressure, discharge power and plasma gas on the polymerization rate were studied. The polymer structure was researched through IR spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction and solubility measurements, and some properties of the polymer such as thermostability, solvent resistence, hydrophobicity, density and refrection index were also determined.

        摘要：The modified ADC method which can be used in measuring the survival fraction of L7712 cells was established using horse serum instead of calf serum. It demonstrated the obvious radiosensitizing effect of metronidazole derivative (CM)on in vitro hypoxic L7712 cells. Its SER was about 2, and was about 67 percent higher than SER (1.2) of the original compound, metronidazole. CM was found to be stronger under hypoxic condition than under aerated condition in the inhibition of cell survival fraction. It was consistent with the results of the preceeding paper that CM showed a strong ability to sensitize sarcoma 180 to radiation and to inhibit the growth of sarcoma 180 under hypoxic condition. Using trypan blue staining method and the ADC method to observe cell survival were compared.

        摘要：This paper reports double-blind observations of volunteers who took 35 kinds of irradiated foods as their main diet for 90 days. The subjects consisted of 70 medical students and 8 staff members in the Shanghai Medical University. They were randomly divided into two groups. One group was supplied with irradiated foods, the other acted as control eating the same food but non-irradiated.The 35 kinds irradiated foods were listed as follows:grain: rice, flour, red bean, soybean, peanut;meat products: pork sausage, preserved beef;vegetables: potato, cabbage, chinese cabbage, wild rice stem, carrot, mushroom, bamboo shoot, lettuce, arrowhead, cauliflower, sword bean, radish, green pepper, taro, hyacinth bean, white gourd, tomato, young soyabean, water chestnut, lotus root, ginger;fruits: orange, apple;dried fruits: dates, longen, lotus seeds;and others: day lily, dried bean products.The absorbed dose of irradiation from the processed foods varied from 0.1 to 8.0 kGy. The irradiated foods made up 60.3% of the total intake by weight.Observations during 90 days indicated that the subjects were all pleased with their diets and no adverse effcts on their health were seen. Clinical and laboratorial examinations included routine blood and urine tests, blood biochemical examinations, hepetic and renal function tests, endocrinologial assays, cellular immunity tests and mutagenetic studies (such as the incedence of polyploid cells, chromosomal structural aberration, rates of sister chromatid-exchanges, micronuclei test, urine Ames test) . These studies showed that the ingestion of these foods are safe for humans.

        摘要：The radiation induced grafting of electron beam pre-irradiated F 46 film with 4-vinylpyridine in the vapor phase was studied. The grafting process was carried out in a reactor with recycling monomer, which produced the saturated vapor of 4-vinylpyridine. The F 46-4 vp grafts can be transformed into anion exchange membranes by post-treatment.Results of experiments showed that: (1) The grafting process of F 46-4 vp system was very similar to that of F 46-st system, at the first stage grafting proceeded slowly; and the second stage was characterized by the increase of percentage graft; at the final stage the percentage graft became levelled off. (2) The elongation of F 46-4 vp grafts varied with the percentage graft correspondingly. (3) Anion exchange membranes prepared by above mentioned method exhibit good physical and chemical properties. (4) Grafting in gaseous phase with recycling monomer seems to be effectual.

        摘要：For linear polymethyl Methacrylate, it may be observed that with high molecular weight the glass transition temperrature is almost independant of molecular weight but with decreasing molecular weight induced by radiation decreases quite sharply. On the other hand, the flow temperature is dependant on molecular weight and is reduced markedly with increasing radiation dose. A relation between molecular weight and flow temperature is proposed, , where M is molecular weight, Tf is flow temperature in K.There are obvious flow temperature and viscous liquid state for cross-linking polymethyl methacrylate except high cross-linked polymer with Mc (average molecular weight between cross-links) 2.5 × 104. An effect of cross-linking on glass transition is observed. Additional cross-link will cause an additional restriction to the flexiblity of the molecules. Hence it may be processed that:where Tg and 121 are the glass transitions of cross-linked and linear polymer respectively.Because glass transition temperature determines the upper limit of temperature of glass-like thermoplastic and the Tg value raises 20-30℃, then the outstanding improvement of cross-linked polymethyl methacrylate, as compared with the linear materials, is its increased heat resistance. Moreover this polymer exhibits a considerable possibility for heat processing because Tf raises only 3-10℃ higher than that of commercial linear polymer.
